Haunted, Gell moves on



He's no longer on North Carolina's death row, but Alan Gell hasn't left prison behind. Sure, he's become a minor celebrity, meeting with lawmakers over steak and beer, speaking against the death penalty across the state, accepting good wishes from strangers at Wal-Mart.
