A Chance to Dance



Each year during the American Dance Festival in Durham, three internatinal choreographers create an original piece using dance students as their raw material. The students must compete for a place in those works, and while many forgo the audition to prepare for six intensive weeks of study, most can't pass up the chance to be part of ADF's prestigious mainstage roster.

But most, fueled by hope and adrenaline, can't imagine passing up an opportunity to create a new dance and be part of ADF's prestigious mainstage roster.
